On February 19, 2008, the vote for Annexation was passed almost 3 to 1. Since then we have been working with Eastsound Sewer and Water District to regain control of our own water from Washington Water Services.
This website is where homeowners in Orcas Highlands, Vusario and Rosario may come to learn what has been done since we voted to annex, stay informed on what is currently being done, and learn what the next steps will be to free ourselves from outside corporate ownership of our water.
